The landmark event brought together around 100 yoga practitioners, families, healthcare professionals, and community leaders, highlighting the growing popularity of yoga as a way of life in Thailand.
Jointly organized by the Thai-Indian Community and Sanjay Kumar Media (SKM), together with its long-standing partners and volunteers, the celebration reflected years of dedication to promoting physical well-being, mental wellness, and stronger community connections through the timeless practice of yoga.
More Than Yoga – A Community Movement

What began as a weekly gathering has evolved into one of Thailand’s longest-running community wellness initiatives. For 300 uninterrupted weeks, the Bangkok Yoga Meet has welcomed people of all ages and nationalities, encouraging healthier lifestyles while fostering friendship, inclusivity, and cultural exchange.
The Grand Yoga Festival embodies a simple yet powerful vision: to create a healthier, happier, and more resilient society. Through regular yoga practice, meditation, and community participation, the initiative promotes physical fitness, emotional balance, inner peace, and social harmony.

Master Kamal Inspires Participants

The festival began with an uplifting yoga session led by Master Kamal, internationally respected as one of India’s most distinguished yoga teachers. With more than five decades of experience in yoga, naturopathy, holistic health, and wellness education, Master Kamal guided participants through practices designed to improve physical health while nurturing mental clarity and emotional well-being.
His message encouraged attendees to embrace yoga as a lifelong journey rather than simply a fitness routine, emphasizing balance between body, mind, and spirit.

This year’s festival marked another important milestone with the participation of Piyavate Hospital and TRIA Medical Wellness Center as official wellness partners.
