Bangkok, Thailand : Thai Airways International will suspend and reduce flights on 10 international routes across Asia in June 2026 as the airline responds to weaker passenger demand during the low tourism season.
The airline confirmed that services connecting Bangkok with destinations in India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and China will either be temporarily cancelled or scaled back throughout June. Some routes will face full-month suspensions, while others will see selected flights removed from the schedule.
According to an airline source, the latest changes follow an earlier round of network adjustments made in May, with the carrier continuing to align flight capacity with softer seasonal demand.
Bangkok–New Delhi Flights Suspended
Thai Airways will fully suspend its Bangkok–New Delhi service for the entire month of June 2026.
Affected flights include:
- TG335 Bangkok–New Delhi: cancelled from June 1–30, 2026
- TG336 New Delhi–Bangkok: cancelled from June 1–30, 2026
Taiwan and Hong Kong Routes Face Reductions
Flights between Bangkok and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, will be cancelled on multiple dates during June.
Cancelled services include:
- TG630 Bangkok–Kaohsiung: June 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16, 20, 23, 25, and 26
- TG631 Kaohsiung–Bangkok: June 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16, 20, 23, 25, and 26
The airline is also trimming operations on its Bangkok–Hong Kong route.
Affected flights are:
- TG638 Bangkok–Hong Kong: June 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 17, 22, and 23
- TG639 Hong Kong–Bangkok: June 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 17, 22, and 23
Sapporo Flights Reduced in June
Thai Airways will also cut selected services between Bangkok and Sapporo, Japan.
Cancelled flights include:
- TG670 Bangkok–Sapporo: June 7, 8, 9, 15, and 22
- TG671 Sapporo–Bangkok: June 8, 9, 10, 16, and 23
Changsha Route Suspended Until September
The airline will temporarily suspend flights between Bangkok and Changsha, China, for four months.
Affected services include:
- TG694 Bangkok–Changsha: cancelled from June 1 to September 30, 2026
- TG695 Changsha–Bangkok: cancelled from June 1 to September 30, 2026
Thai Airways Adjusts Capacity for Low Season
Thai Airways said the schedule adjustments are part of broader efforts to better match flight capacity with reduced travel demand during the off-peak tourism period.
Passengers travelling on affected routes are advised to check flight status updates directly with the airline or through authorised booking agents before departure.
